Order to cash, for exporters

Built for the families who move real goods across borders.

You sell by the pallet and the container, on a deposit and a balance, with a factory step in the middle. Pebble keeps the whole order in one place, from the first quote to the last payment.

Built with exporters of shelf-stable commodities, shipping FOB to distributors.

The shape of the trade

The goods and the money have never lived in the same place.

A quote goes out by email. A deposit lands in a bank statement. The container number arrives in a message thread, and the balance is worked out weeks later by someone with a spreadsheet open. Every part is done well. Nothing joins them up.

That is not a discipline problem. Until now there has simply been nowhere to keep an export order whole.

Built for

Three people use it, for three different reasons.

See what is owed and where the cargo is, without asking anyone.

Open the order and the answer is there: what has been paid, what is still due, which container it is in and when it lands. No ringing the office on a Sunday to find out.

  • Every open balance in one list, oldest first
  • The credit line for each buyer, before you confirm
  • Container and bill of lading on the order itself

The loop

01Quote

Priced by the pallet, held to a date

Eighteen pallets at $412.00 the drum, in the buyer’s currency, with the incoterm on the quote itself. A validity window runs down, and when it lapses the price is gone rather than quietly honoured.

02Deposit

Half in, the balance scheduled

The deposit is what opens the order, not an email saying it will. The balance and its due date are written in the same movement, so the figure on the order and the figure at the bank never drift apart.

What this order does to the line

The balance is credit you extended, whether or not anyone in the business calls it that. You see what the order consumes and what is left before production is released, not after the container has sailed.

A ticket the floor can work from

Seventy-two drums filled to a batch against a ready date. The ticket belongs to the order, so a short fill on the floor is a short fill on the record and eventually a credit note, not an argument.

05Shipping

Container, bill of lading, ETA

Loaded FOB Puerto Caldera and handed over at the rail. The bill of lading date starts the clock on the balance, which makes it one field on the order rather than a thread somebody has to search.

Pricing

Priced per company, once we have seen how you trade.

An exporter shipping four containers a month and one shipping forty do not need the same thing, and we would rather quote the work in front of us than publish a tier and argue about it later. We agree a figure with you after the walkthrough, in writing, before anything is set up.

Tell us how you ship, and we will show you the record.

A walkthrough runs about forty minutes against one of your own orders, not a demo account. Bring a quote and a container number and we will follow them through to the last payment.
